My Personal Gaming Computer Build

As a gaming streamer, I often get asked, “what is your PC build”. I assume it is by agents looking for vulnerabilities in my system but alas here I reveal to you, my personal gaming PC build. Don’t hack me, bro.

I built this myself as I do with all of my computers. I buy the parts on Amazon usually as they are cheaper than my local Best Buy and get here next day almost always.

Streaming Equipment.

Microphone Audio-Technica AT2035
I tested the FIFINE K688 and the Logitech Blue Yeti which were both pretty bad compared to the Audio-Technica AT2035 Cardioid Condenser Microphone.
Do not forget the XLR Cable because it doe snot come with one.
Oh, and a stand. Yes I had to buy all that just for the audio setup.

I also got this MaonoCaster E2 Gen2 sound board for controlling it.

My CPU Intel i5-13600K 14 5.1 GHz
I have the Intel i5-13600K so you may already see the problem there. I would not recommend this processor or really intel ever again after the 13th Gen fiasco.
Additional details: 14 cores (6 P-cores + 8 E-cores) and 20 threads 24M Cache

CPU Cooler Noctua NH-U12S Redux
Yup, just a nice quiet fan. I did liquid cooled before and it didn’t make a difference but it did cost me more and provide a lot more noise.

Mobo Gigabyte B760M Aorus Elite AX
Not a fan of this one because of the major problems Intel 13th Gens had and the ability to under volt being removed but after lots of tweeking and trial and error I got my disadvantaged i5 working good.

My GPU MSI – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GAMING 8GB DDR6X PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card – Black
I am happy with this thing but there was very limited choice at the time and the 12GB came out like a month later so screw you NVIDIA.

RAM 64GB DDR5 6400MHz CL32-40-40-84
While I originally started off with 32GB I bought a subscription to the new online Photoshop for specific purposes and it destroyed my computer performance. I do not recommend it to anyone and suggest you stick with older offline versions such as CS5. Even upgraded to 64GB of RAM that application runs like trash.

SSD WD_BLACK 2TB SN7100 NVMe
Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive – Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 7,250 MB/s – WDS200T4X0E [New Version]
This is just my primary drive I do have like 4 other drives in my tower for various non gaming reasons.

PSU Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 80+ Gold 600W
PS-TPD-0600NNFAGU-2
Modular with a 5 year warranty. In the past I went with a more high end EVGA and it crapped out on me anyways.

Case Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L
MCB-Q300L-KANN-S00
Yes, a cheap small case is all I need. I do not like large towers. I have used this case for a few builds.

Monitor ASUS TUF Gaming 24”
While I do have multiple monitors, this is the one I game on.
I do not like larger monitors as it is more real estate I have to try and look at.

Mouse Redragon M908 Impact
I tried many mice and this one is cheap and fits my big hands.
